Readers' Theater

I have updated our snack calendar for April.

On the calendar, you will see the "Readers' Theater" is set on Friday, April 27.  This is a reading & writing celebration that our class will put together.  We will start at 12:30.  Everyone (siblings, grandparents, uncles and aunts!) is welcomed to join us.

All the students are doing an excellent job on blogging! I hope they are filling you in on what it going on in our classroom.  They sure are making me feel a little better about lack of blogging on these days (sorry!).  Thank you for taking time to comment on their entries.  The smile on their faces are priceless.  They are starting to respond back to your comments, so please make sure to go back to the comments that you made.

Upcoming Events and Units
Reading--- We will focus on fluency to get ready for the readers' theater.
Writing --- We will be writing a poem to share with you at our celebration.  Finding interesting words for their writing will be another focus this month.
Math --- Time, calendar, shapes (2-D & 3-D)
Science --- Air unit
Social Studies --- Community & Map Unit, Earth Day

School Supplies
I will be sending home a list of supplies that need to be replaced or replenished.
