Happy Holidays!

We had a great time at our holiday celebration.  Thanks to Charlotte, Izzie, Madison and Fran’s family for helping us celebrate.

Fun Math Game

In math we have been practicing a counting down strategy and counting up strategy so solve subtraction problems.  For example, it is easy to count down 2 from 9 for 9-2=7, but it is easier to count up from 7 to 9 to solve 9-7=2.  We also talked about connecting addition and subtraction.  For example, to solve 7-4, we may think 4+3=7 so 7-4=3.
