Our week was filled with homecoming festivities. We enjoyed the dress up days, making a school spirit poster, pep rally, and parade.
Of course, we were busy learning, too.
We went on an insect hunt and got to take a close look at the real insects.
We have been working hard on building stamina to read and work independently. It is a part of program called Daily 5 that I am implementing in my classroom this year. I will write more about Daily 5 next week, but if you would like to "peek" in my classroom, go to the elementary website to view a YouTube video.
